About Us
Independent by design.
Design Fact Finder is an independent directory, awards platform, and research hub for the UK design industry.
We built Design Fact Finder to solve a real problem: finding credible, independently verified design partners in the UK is harder than it should be. Procurement teams, marketing directors, and business owners frequently struggle to identify quality agencies from the noise.
We publish independently reviewed directory listings, run transparent design awards with published criteria, and produce original research on the commercial value of design — continuing the spirit of the original Design Council "Value of Design Factfinder" as an entirely independent resource.
Our editorial principles
- We do not sell editorial recommendations. Directory rankings are based on quality, not payment.
- Sponsored placements are always clearly labelled and never presented as editorial picks.
- Award judging is independent. Entry fees cover administration only and have no influence on outcomes.
- Research articles are original editorial content citing primary sources.
- We are not affiliated with the Design Council or any government body.
